The color for each preset program shown below is flashed every ten seconds by a seperate Spectrum colored LED and is only used for selecting and indicating which preset program is running. All four elemental primary colors are emitted by Tesla Jewels for each preset program.
Red
Focused Integration
A 90 minute repeating program to facilitate focused integration of the different energy bodies while maintaining a relaxing energy level. This is the default integration program recommended for initial ASD usage.
Amber
Solfeggio Integration
A 90 minute repeating program featuring the Solfeggio scale to awaken and integrate your energy centers during any activity. This Preset changes the flash type and color as each Chakra’s frequencies are emitted. The Amber heart-beat is seen for the starting-up and winding-down frequencies, those below the Solfeggio scale. When the Root Chakra frequencies are emitted the LED changes to a Red ‘wave’ (a gradual brightening and dimming of the light), Amber for Sacral, Yellow for Solar Plexus, Green for Heart, Turquoise for Throat, Blue for Third-eye, Purple for Crown and White for expanded awareness. Preset Programs
The standard Tesla Jewels is shipped with four default Preset Programs. Up to 8 unique Preset Integration Programs can reside on your Tesla Jewels. You can also keep other Preset Integration Programs on your computer that can be used to replace ones on your instrument. All Preset Integration Programs are designed to raise the vibrational energies of the persons within its field of influence as well as support the body’s internal circadian rhythm by creating entrainment ultradian cycles. Most programs are designed to run for 90 minutes and then repeat, as this is a typical ultradian cycle length. Specialized programs intended for a single use during the day have shorter run times as explained below.

Power Supply
Included is a 5 volt Mini-B USB international (110V-240V AC 50Hz-60Hz) power adapter. EU users may request a US flat to EU round prong adapter to be included at no additional cost. Tesla Jewels may also be powered from a computer’s USB port delivered over the included A to Mini-B connector.
Controls and Indicators
Tesla Jewels features a Spectrum Light Emitting Diode (SLED) on the top of the instrument and two dome pushbutton switch on the bottom. The Spectrum LED lights difference colors to indicate the status of the instrument and which program is currently running. When power is first applied to Tesla Jewels it runs a series of self tests and when they pass the Spectrum LED transitions from Red to White in color and then flashes six times to indicate the instrument version and serial number. The SLED then flashes every ten seconds when the program is running to indicate whether Program 1 (Red) or Program 2 (Amber) is running. The dome pushbuttons on the bottom are used both to change programs and to enter the Critical Flicker Fusion measurement program.
Operation
Tesla Jewels are self starting and restarting and only requires being plugged into a 5V USB power source to operate. The last run program automatically loads every time. The running program is changed by pressing the SELECT dome pushbutton switch on the bottom of the instrument. The Spectrum LED on the top of the instrument will flash the color of newly selected program and then flash a two flash ‘heart-beat’ every ten seconds to indicate which program is running. Tesla Jewels will always load and run the new program until the user again presses the SELECT dome pushbutton switch. The SETUP dome pushbutton switch on the bottom of the instrument is used to enter and operate the Critical Flicker Fusion measurement program.
Your Wellness Number – Critical Flicker Fusion
Your Rhythmedics Tesla Jewels includes the ability to measure and report your Personal Wellness Number, also known as your Critical Flicker Fusion number. Your CFF number is a personal indicator of your overall wellness and integration. Due to differences in the physiology of your eyes you cannot compare your wellness number to someone else’s. This feature is intended to allow you to track your personal wellness and level of integration. A higher number indicates greater personal wellness and a greater level of integration. To activate this feature, press and hold the SETUP switch for 2 seconds and then release it. If you press and hold SETUP for 5 seconds it will cause Tesla Jewels to switch over to the flash-drive mode discussed in a later section. The Primary Color emitters will shut off and the Spectrum LED will flash Red 6 times to indicate CFF testing is beginning. When this occurs the Spectrum Status LED will begin flashing Red very rapidly, appearing to be lit continuously. Hold Tesla Jewels close to your face with the Spectrum LED directly in front of your dominant eye and a finger on the SETUP switch to press it when you perceive the LED begins to flicker. As the flashing rate slowly reduces in frequency you will begin to see a definite flickering of the Red LED. At this point firmly press the SETUP switch to stop the test. Tesla Jewels reports your two digit Wellness Number by flashing White for the ten’s digit and the Green for the unit’s digit. A zero in either digit position is reported as a single flash of Blue. Tesla Jewels then runs a 10 minute therapy session using your Wellness Number’s Flicker Fusion frequency. After 10 minutes Tesla Jewels restarts the previously run program. Record and compare your wellness and integration number over time to assess your overall wellness. A higher number is an improvement in wellness and integration.
Customer Updates
Your Rhythmedics Tesla Jewels includes an integrated Flash-Drive used for updating and upgrading your Instrument. This feature may be accessed in any one of three methods. First, by pressing the SETUP switch while Tesla Jewels is first starting up after being plugged into an active USB port on your computer. Pressing SETUP while Tesla Jewels is connected to the power adapter is not advised. Secondly, you can press and hold SETUP for 5 seconds if Tesla Jewels is already running a preset program while connected to your computer. Thirdly, pressing SETUP while plugging Tesla Jewels into your computer’s USB port. Your computer should automatically install the appropriate device driver for the Rhythmedics Flash-Drive. A pop-up window may appear prompting you to open the drive to view the files. There should only be one file on the Rhythmedics Flash-Drive named NUTESLA.HTM. Opening this file will open your default web browser and display the currently installed preset programs. If you are connected to the Internet additional details about your presets will be available and you can click on the NuTesla link at the top to be connected to NuTesla.com’s Instrument Console page, which will transmit your Instrument’s serial number and PIN to NuTesla for validation. You can exit the flash-drive mode by either unplugging Tesla Jewels and reconnecting it without pressing any switches, or by simply pressing the SELECT switch once.
